One of the least expensive and yet enjoyable gifts left for guests at a wedding are edible wedding favors. The next decision to be made is which type to use; sweet or savory and whilst there are no hard and fast rules on this, most guests will prefer to have sweet! Almost everyone appreciates a bar of chocolate and they will appreciate it more if it has a wrapper designed for the occasion. These chocolate bars can be simple milk chocolate, dark or white chocolate which are filled with items such as almonds or raisins. Most wedding candy wrappers will have the details of the bride and groom plus the date and venue of the wedding which can be kept as a memento of the special day.

One option that is growing in popularity is the use of large glass bowls containing the bride and grooms own favorite types of candy. You can also supply a small themed container on the table for every wedding guest. Even though the guests will be eating the candy during the evening, at the end of the night they can fill their presentation boxes (if there are any left) and take them away with them. Although not as popular as other edible wedding favors, cookies can have just as much appeal when they are presented properly. These can also be presented in a box or a tin with details of the wedding printed on them as a special keepsake for the guests.

An unusual and more exclusive option for edible wedding favors is to give the guests coffee, cocoa or tea. These too can be customized to suit the occasion and if you are going to all the effort of supplying something this exclusive, why shouldn’t they be customized.
