You guys know I ignore my emotions, because life can be lonesome without a date. Here’s the scoup, merely hours ago I devoured what seemed like a pound of bacon. To ease the pain that comes from being alone, duh! Don’t judge me (j/k!). Is that even legal? Honestly, that’s the moment when I seriously looked into dating again in my area.
I already knew the solution. I’ll ease back into dating with a professional dating service, Denver Great Expectations. Definitely sounds like a plan. My dating life is worth bringing up. While eating corn on the cob at Julie’s soccer finals in Dallas two weeks ago, Richard wanted to know if I’ve bumped into my true love. I just can’t believe that came up. I laughed and spit out, “No.”
No surprise that “The Twerp” (my nephew, age 9) mindlessly kept jabbing me along the lines of true relationships. I said to each of them: “Hey look, my romantic destiny is right over there!”
How can they be so rude? They all laughed at me. Irritated, I emailed my astrologist in hopes this loneliness would all go away. I still have no idea what to do! I didn’t learn a thing. Billy, who was a fellow Ram in high school (go Rams!) advised that I enroll in Great Expectations. I said, “That would do the trick.” See, everything always works out. I will never regret joining Great Expectations Dallas.
When I started, dating services were new to me. This was all really foreign to me, that I noticed I wore mismatched socks by accident. A mere slight disaster could not pull the plug on us from enjoying ourselves. That night I enjoyed was a limo pub crawl from heaven. The host was incredible and I’ll always remember the other members, some who are my new friends.
It wasn’t long before I was regularly mingling at these glorious Great Expectations Dallas singles events and mixers, I rubbed elbows with a handful of marvelous guys and gals who clearly share a parallel understanding for how dating should be done. I really shouldn’t allow so many people give their two cents about being single. Wonderfully enough, matchmaking the Great Expectations way is a lot of fun and a remarkably refreshing dating experience.
