I never imagined the indestructible Colleen Sharp, my youthful partner in crime, could ever need a collection of lace wigs. Her extravagant long black hair added so much to her indomitable look. But surprise surprise. She is still the center of attention for her style. Very few even care that she relies on synthetic wigs. Keep it on the DL.
Back in the day as blossoming ladies in Arizona, we once knocked ‘em dead. A few years went by before her alopecia reared its head and her hair wouldn’t be the same. I mentioned some lace front wigs. But you know, she shrugged it off. What a strong soul, she aggressively demonstrated her threadbare confidence.
At her boyfriend Jacob’s rugby game, we heckled until her loverboy retardedly launched the ball (or whatever they play with) into the stands. Such a sport, she reached out for the thing and her head scarf jumped from her head, unveiling her naked head. Like nothing happened, she hurled the thing with a tremendous heave to her man. Attitude, did I mention she’s got it?
However, nobody is perfect. One time she invited me over for a stroll to the art gallery, the day she laughed nervously and told me that she would rather go bald out of anger. She loved her old hair so much she can’t even spend money on beautiful wigs, though she would wear them. She then she stopped talking and demanded that I should think nothing more of it. So I did.
I wanted to help so bad. That night, I IM’d with her about going shopping with me for a new lace front wig. Finally the two of us arrived at the obvious conclusion: lace front wigs for all! Wigs for the both of us, on me!
We had a ball wig shopping, bewildered by the wide selection of hair colors, textures and styles. We never imagined that synthetic wigs could be very appealing for people, even superstars. These wigs complimented her natural beauty. I arranged a completely creative ensemble around our wigs. We’re inseparable, forever and always. For my birthday she thanked me for giving her back her hair, and disclosed that it encourages a real positive image in her life. It’s a relief to watch my best friend float about as light as a feather. Can’t wait to see that infamous “toss ‘n turn” again.
