Intelius, the Stevie Award-winning online public records company, not only pioneers in innovation and growth among the companies in Washington, the company also leads in the field of corporate philanthropy. Though the successful Bellevue, Washington-based firm offers a vast array of information-based services that empowers consumers to formulate intelligent decisions daily, one of its goals is to become a relevant partner in the community.
Ever since Naveen Jain founded Intellius in January of 2003, it has been actively engaged in several local and national nonprofit organizations. Intellius funds various causes that strengthen communities and uplift lives.
In 2008, the company was able to set a new record by contributing well over $200,000 to more than a few local and national nonprofit organizations. Intelius also gathered its entire body of workers to volunteer to certain charitable organizations within the area of Seattle and render 12 hours of paid leave each year as an incentive. Intelius also initiated an employee giving program that matches monetary contributions of its employees to qualified nonprofits.
Naveen Jain, the company’s co-founder and CEO, has greatly influenced Intelius’ workforce with his passion for giving back. As a notable philanthropist, Naveen Jain has made personal donations to a variety of foundations. Due to the unflagging philanthropic spirit of Intelius and its founders, the Overlake Service League honored Naveen Jain and his wife, Anu, during the group’s 10th Annual “Step Up to the Plate” Benefit Luncheon.
Under Jain’s leadership, the company’s philanthropy programs were able to reach out to various community based nonprofits such as Olive Crest, YouthCare and Seattle Children’s Hospital. Intelius has also given more than $170,000 to a scholarship endowment program intended for several undergraduates at the University of Washington.
Additionally, the company has rendered volunteer hours and contributions to the Bellevue Boys and Girls Club, Overlake Service League, Tree House, United Way and Hopelink.
